After 3 years or so an update blimey!! Well there has been quite a lot of interest on Paul's work with first band Grind on the Paul Draper facebook group, people have been asking to see more clips and mp'3s so i had a sniff about and found the full and original videos posted some time ago by Steve Heaton (the one with the amazing hair) Paul's former band mate, all the MP3's and videos are available to download now in the media section, but i'll put up the best here, which include Epic (8mins of Draper's underrated guitar skills) and Lantern where you can watch Paul dancing!! (not sure he'll like that one mind) any questions or requests for more media email me at webmaster@pauldraper-music.co.uk and i'll try my best, enjoy..

Paul has written a blog recently to mark the 10th anniversary of the Mansun album Six, it will go out this Sunday 7th Sep. If you want to receive it, sign up at the the official mailing list. To Go along with the blog, Paul will be doing a live Q&A at 6pm (same day) on the official forum, answering your questions about the album.

Hello again, Paul has been in touch lately and has given us some info on what he has been working on. He's also give us some track titles although these are subject to change..

"I took a break from my project after i realized to do what i wanted to do, i.e. do it all myself without a band as such id have to re-equip my studio "Draposound" and I've done some production work to road test it. I did some stuff with Catherine Anne Davies, check her site or myspace and she's got a track called 'Unravel' we worked on."

Paul also went on to reveal some work in progress tracks he has recently been working on, some interesting titles namely Being A Girl Part 3 and Cancer Part II.

"Song titles I've been working on but will probably change are....

Can U Ever Trust Another, Feel Like I Wanna Stay, Friend, Sex With Strangers, Can't Get Fairer Than That, Annie, Being A Girl Part 3, Sociopath, Wont Get Hurt By A Woman Again, Borderline Nymphomaniac, Life Turns On Inconsequential Moments, Synth Pop Hero, Monkeys On A Rock, Say What Everyone Else Thinks And They'll Say Ya Fuckin Mad, cancer pt II."

You may or may not know Myspace went on the rampage and deleted a host of fan sites, the Draper Livespace and Chad livespace have now returned and you can access them by clicking on the below banners. Also if you like these pages, you can copy the html code underneath the banner to use on your own myspace page, just copy and paste into your about me section.

Rumours are being put about lately of the possibility of a Mansun return (no, I'm not cracking up) its said that Paul is now working with Andie, and they aren't ruling out the possibility of touring and releasing as Mansun. These rumours were first brought about by a post on the official forum, although the post has since been deleted, it suggested that all was not over for Mansun as a band.

This has also been intensified by a statement from a management company called Dirty Music who have announced that they are managing Paul Draper/Mansun saying "the future is bright" I guess you all might want to add yourself to the official Mansun myspace page

Well after a quite a long time without anything happening, things now seem on the go, of late Paul has spent a lot of time (as we know) producing other artists, the latest Catherine Anne Davies, has added a couples of demo's from their sessions on her myspace page, which you can hear now...

More importantly, the news we all want is on his own solo work. And at last now things are moving on in a big way, an exclusive interview with Paul for a Chinese Fanzine will be released around Christmas, this will contain some (very interesting information). Also expect a brand new diary entry and his official website up very soon!!

There is also the Paul Draper E-team running from the official forum this is for anyone who wishes to contribute any ideas to help promote Paul online, if interested please send an email to admin@pauldraper.net

Just a quick update showing the latest photos (courtesy of Suzi) see gallery page, as it stands Paul is 'still' busy working on his solo album whilst also working with Catherine Anne Davies on her album, keep checking back here and his official myspace page where a demo is said to be online later this year.

Newsflash!!! 

Only joking! :) Here is a bit of a late PD-Music news update.. Online now is a very nice in depth Q&A that Paul has done with the Draperview website..

"I've no idea, I'm just doing my own stuff for my own pleasure. I'll never fall into the trap of making a record for a record company ever again. I'll make music on my own terms from now on and ill keep going. Whenever I fancy writing and releasing, I will!"

There is a new Official Draper Myspace page aimed towards the various fansites online, it will feature bootlegs, session tracks, and also polls where you can determine whats played on the player! you can find it by clicking here or use the quick link at the top of this page.

Also keep an eye out for news, and brand new pictures of Paul coming to the fansites very soon.

In a MySpace bulletin Paul has announced that "loads" of new material will be on show over the next few weeks.

Bulletin all your myspace friends and ask em to add them selves as my myspace friend then they too can get first listen to loads of new material coming on my myspace page over the next few weeks.

Also his official site www.pauldraper.info will be launched in the next week or so.     

Decembers issue of Uncut features Paul talking about the break up of his former band Mansun and his new solo project..

"One night it all kicked off. We broke into the wine cellar, picked out the best bottle of champagne and got twatted. There was a lot of shouting and aggro. Chad punched his hand into a brick wall and ended up in hospital on a morphine drip. People were saying that I was a paranoid schizophrenic In fact with all the stress I got a malignant tumour and had to have a course of radiation therapy before having it cut out."

Paul Draper was a guest on Steve Lamacq's Roundtable show reviewing the latest tracks doing the rounds alongside Guy Chambers and Mojo's journalist Keith Cameron. After producing a band called Komakino, Paul said at the start of the show.

"that's definitely the direction I'll be going down in the future, writing, producing, or a bit of both".
