I've never met/spoken to Paul Draper, I know him
only through his songs/lyrics/interviews, so
writing a profile looked so tempting and yet
quite hard: what to write, what to say about
someone I really don't know? Express my feelings
when I listen to his songs? Discuss his amazing
talent with words that got me hooked from the
very first taste? So I thought about getting
some help from... his stars! Basically, I
entered his details (place/date of birth) into a
program that calculates Sun, Moon and all the
other planets positions and gives back some info
on personality, good qualities, faults... here's
what I got...

1972
Sun in Libra Metaphorical
image of the equal length of day and night, when
Sun is in Autumn Equinox, Libra is the star sign
that most craves for equilibrium: it doesn't
mean that a Libran is a well balanced person,
but only that he looks for balance throughout
his entire life, without ever archiving it.
Friendly and with a great taste for art and
beauty (qualities given by Venus, the sign
ruling planet), when dealing with people, he is
very affable, diplomat, careful about the
words/gesture, with a kind and affectionate feel
for everyone. Often, while looking for the
proper idea/solution, a Libran runs things late:
his decisions are well thought, and the sign
worst fault (laziness) slows down the whole
process even more. Given the chance, he'd stay
at home reading, collecting precious stimuli for
his own creativity, before expressing himself
with amazing intuitions! But there wise Saturn (empowered
in
Libra) comes to check the pace! Libran's ideas
are so wise and brilliant, that he is easily
forgiven for any laziness. Love is vital: when a
Libran ain't in love, he feels worn out,
useless. When young, there's a tendency to be
volatile. Generally easily lead, he gives
himself to his partner to gain protection and
help to make a choice/decision.
Moon in Taurus Here Moon
sensibility meets Venus affection, thus
resulting in family values and ties. Venus and
Moon together rescue the true meaning of love
without conditions. Must check, anyway, a quite
obsessive possessiveness, characteristic in
Taurus, but they're great friends, loyal,
generous.
Mercury in Libra Probably
it's the best position for a very rational
intelligence: Mercury here has lots of practical
sense, reasoning, zero tolerance for dogmas and
is quite disobedient, it's common in people who
react violently to any imposition. The only
limit is a permanent indecision (typical in
Libra anyway).
Venus in Leo Sun's
presence makes this Venus quite lively: people
with this Venus need to be in the top spot, to
feel vital to others, but are extremely generous
and prone to give.
Mars in Virgo This Mars
influences work in a quite untidy way: there's a
lack of punctuality and uncohesive methods, hate
of the norms or routine!
Jupiter in Capricorn It's
a more responsible Jupiter that relies on hard
work and determination, being quite a good base
for a brilliant career!
Saturn in Gemini It has
been said quite often that this is an unhappy
position for Saturn, whose characteristics of
wisdom, maturity and desire of success don't mix
well with the easy, teenager style world of
Gemini. Intelligence is sharp, the choice of
friends is well made and often based on an
intellectual exchange.
Uranus in Libra The
active, practical and vital attitude of Uranus
is inhibited by doubts and hesitations towards
choices/decisions, typical of Libra. It's a
quite snobbish Uranus, and a bit arrogant, not
very modest, has a massive influence on
sexuality and hints to a latent bisexuality.
Neptune in Sagittarius
Jupiter's presence enlightens Neptune,
stimulating creativity and artistic talent.
Positive Sagittarius keeps in check Neptune's
mad defeatism, though still prone to some
excess!
Pluto in Libra One of the
most positive positions for Pluto as Libra's
equalising energy softens Pluto's twisted
energy. People with Pluto in Libra have a
healthy dose of ambition plus an amazing
artistic and musical talent! And that sums our
Paul up, doesn't
it?
